However, the estimations of the effects were difficult to verify in some cases such as sealed samples and valuable objects. In this study, the shape effects for sealed radioactive samples were estimated experimentally. The significant localization of the 
I sample was confirmed only by an energy-resolved neutron imaging. It is revealed that the shape effect was necessary to be corrected at the neutron resonance peaks. Consequently, we conclude that the energy-resolved neutron imaging will be quite effective to improve the analytical accuracy.

中性子共鳴吸収イメージングを、抽出クロマトグラフィに使用するマイナーアクチノイド回収用CMPO/SiO-Pカラムで形成したEu吸着バンドの観測に適用した。軽水や重水で調製した湿潤カラムと乾燥吸着材を充填した乾燥カラムを比較し、中性子透過を評価した。中性子透過スペクトルから、乾燥カラムは45%、軽水調製カラムは20%、重水調製カラムは40%の中性子透過を確認した。得られた結果から、CMPO/SiO-Pカラムに形成したEu吸着バンドを観測するには、重水の使用によって、より鮮明になることを明らかにした。今後、カラム操作による吸着バンドのカラム内移行挙動を明らかにする。

福島原子力発電所の解体作業では、溶融した燃料棒に含まれるホウ素分布を事前に把握することが重要である。溶融燃料棒の模擬試験体を用意し、ホウ素やホウ化物の含有量を調査する研究が行われてきた。本研究では、その一環として中性子を用いたホウ素並びにホウ化物分布の測定技術開発を行った。ホウ素の中性子吸収に伴う即発ガンマ線を測定し、ホウ素量や二次元分布を測定した。また、n(B,)反応における478keV線は、ホウ素の化合状態により、線ピークの幅が変化することが知られている。このことを用い、特に溶融燃料棒周辺に存在することが予測されているZrBやFeBといったホウ化物の識別可能性について調査した。測定はJ-PARC/MLFのANNRI, NOBORU, RADENにて行った。これらの解析結果について報告する。

EuPtSi with the cubic chiral structure exhibits a skyrmion phase under magnetic field. We succeeded in growing high-quality single crystals by the Bridgman method. Fermi surface splitting reflecting the noncentrosymmetric structure was successfully observed experimentally.

被引用回数：0 パーセンタイル：0(Physics, Applied)Spectroscopic measurement of L X-ray is one of important techniques for a non-destructive assay of transuranium (TRU) elements because L X-rays of the energy ranging from 10 to 25 keV are emitted following internal conversion after the alpha-decay of TRU elements. For identification of L X-ray peaks of TRU elements, the energy resolution of the detector is required to be lower than 100 eV of the full width at half maximum (FWHM). In this work, a transition-edge-sensor (TES) microcalorimeter was operated for spectroscopic measurements of L X-rays emitted from a Np-237 and Cm-244 source. Typical L X-ray peaks of Pa, U and Pu elements were clearly identified in the obtained energy spectra. The FWHM energy resolution of the TES microcalorimeter was obtained to be 32.7 eV at Pu L alpha1 X-ray peak of 14.28 keV with natural line width of 12.20 eV. We considered a feasibility of a non-destructive assay of TRU elements with experimental L X-ray spectra obtained by the TES microcalorimeter.

17日の2日間にわたり、いばらき量子ビーム研究センターにおいて、J-PARC物質・生命科学実験施設(MLF)の4台の直接配置型(チョッパー型)中性子分光器合同のユーザーミーティング「DIRECTION 2017」が開催された。4台の装置とは4SEASONS (BL01), HRC (BL12), AMATERAS (BL14), POLANO (BL23)であり、本ミーティングはこれらの装置におけるユーザー利用の活性化に向けて、J-PARC MLF, 高エネルギー加速器研究機構物質構造科学研究所, 総合科学研究機構の共催で開催されたものである。本ミーティングでは各装置、試料環境、ソフトウェアの最新状況に加え、各装置における最近の実験およびデータ解析の例が幅広い研究分野にわたって紹介された。本報告書はこのミーティングの講演要旨および講演で使用された発表資料を収録したものである。

非弾性中性子散乱実験を用いて秩序-秩序転移点直上における金属反強磁性体MnPtのスピン波を調べ、結晶主軸方向に沿ったスピン波の分散は400Kにおいて等方的であることを見出した。これらの実験結果は、温度上昇によるスティフネス定数の大幅な減少を示すものであり、MnPtが有する磁気モーメントの遍歴性を示唆するものである。
