準量子論による標題の過程に対する断面積公式を実用的に使い易くするために書き換えた。電離される高励起原子の方位量子数について平均化すると、この公式はさらに簡単化される。電子ー原子の非弾性散乱にグラーバー振幅を用いて、水素原子同士の電離衝突断面積の計算を行った。その結果とボルン振幅を用いて得られた結果を比較し、一般化振動子強度により結果の考察を行った。
