The Precise survey and the alignment results of the J-PARC linac

J-PARCリニアックは機器のインストールを完了し、ビーム総合調整試験を開始した。機器の位置を精密に整列させることは、高品質のビーム加速のために重要である。そこでビーム試験に先立って精密測量を行い、再調整を実施した。加速器トンネル壁面に基準点をおよそ5mおきに設置し、精密測量の精度を向上させた。この精密測量の結果を元に、機器の位置を精密に再調整した。その結果、ビームを加速するために十分な滑らかさを持ったアライメントを達成した。

J-PARC linear accelerator components have been installed. Precise alignment of the accelerator components is essential for high quality beam acceleration. Before the beam commissioning, a precise survey for alignment has been performed. The reference points on the tunnel wall were set up to built a survey network. Based on the survey results, the magnets in the straight section were re-aligned finely. Then, the results of the displacement are confirmed to be tolerable for the beam commissioning.
