Doping dependence of spin fluctuations in LaFeAsO$$_{1-x}$$F$$_{x}$$ superconductor studied by inelastic neutron scattering

Inelastic neutron scattering study has been carried out on polycrystalline superconducting samples of LaFeAsO$$_{1-x}$$F$$_{x}$$ with $$x$$ = 0.05, 0.075, and 0.10. The magnetic cross section exclusively at 11 meV decreases little with doping in the superconducting compounds and it is comparable to that of the non-doped LaFeAsO. This fact suggests that the antiferromagnetic spin fluctuation remains deep inside the superconducting regime, implying the importance of spin fluctuation in this system.
