先進オリエントサイクル研究において、使用済燃料から分離した核種の利用技術の現状を報告する。はじめに、ナノ吸着剤で分離した発熱性FP(Cs, Sr)を固体化して熱電変換素子の熱源として利用する方法を紹介し、続いて使用済燃料中の白金族元素を電析により回収し、その電極を用いた水素製造技術の開発について述べる。

Current status for utilization technology of separated nuclides from a spent fuel is described. Firstly, utilization of middle life fission product (Cs, Sr) as a heat source separated by nano absorber is introduced. Secondary, platinum group metals are separated from spent fuel by electrochemical method, and then development of hydrogen production technique by using its electrode is introduced.
