脳内微量元素分布に及ぼすメタンフェタミンの影響

Influence of methamphetamine on the trace element distribution within a brain

メタンフェタミンを投与したマウスの脳切片を、micro-PIXEを用いて解析した。行動変化を起こしたマウスの海馬歯状回における臭素と他の元素量を比較したところ、臭素集積量は減少傾向にあったが、亜鉛,鉄,カルシウムの集積量は増加傾向にあった。これらの結果から、行動量に変化を与える薬物は、脳内微量元素の分布にも影響を与えていることが示唆された。

The brain section of the mouse which prescribed methamphetamine was analyzed using micro-PIXE. When bromine in the hippocampal dentate gyrus of a mouse which caused the behavioral change, and other amounts of elements were measured, the amount of bromine accumulation was on the decrease, but the accumulation of zinc, iron, and calcium were on the increase. It was suggested that the medicine which gives change to the amount of actions has also affected distribution of the trace element within a brain.
