原子力機構は放射能汚染環境下でのロボット操作を支援するため遮へい操作ボックスや$$gamma$$線可視化計測装置等を搭載したロボットコントロール車を開発整備し、福島第一原子力発電所事故対応への協力を実施。

Japan Atomic Energy Agency developed a robotic control vehicle for supporting the accident recovery in the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. The developed robotic control vehicle can measure radiation using a $$gamma$$ cam and a robot with a radiation sensor. A heavily shielded operation box was built for reducing the exposure of radiation.
