次世代層(高校・大学)への科学教育を通じた原子力コミュニケーションの実践

数年にわたり、エネルギー・環境と原子力廃棄物処分をテーマに、高校・大学における科学授業を行い、グループワークを通じて将来のエネルギー選択にかかわる議論を学生達と行ってきた。原子力の利用に伴う廃棄物発生とその処分については、これまでの原子力のエネルギー利用にもまして社会の受容の視点を重視して、次世代につながる情報発信とコミュニケーションを図るべきテーマである。また、その計画と実施に必要な期間が長期に渡るため、世代間の知識や意識の共有を図り、技術情報についてもそれを継承する人材の確保に適切に対処していかなければならない課題といえる。福島第一原子力発電所事故を経て、今後の次世代層への原子力コミュニケーションのあり方への考察も加えて報告する。

The educational activities have been continued for more than 5 years to introduce the right understanding about radioactive waste arising from the use of the nuclear energy with giving a lecture as a scientific schooling activities. In this report, the experience from the viewpoint of knowledge on communicating scientific topics about nuclear energy and radwaste will be discussed. Also with the consideration of how much difference and change were watched after the scientific lecture with questionnaire answer from the students with various technological background.
