動的核スピン偏極によるコントラスト変調を用いた中性子小角散乱法を用いたシリカ充填SBRゴムの構造解析成果について報告する。タイヤの低燃費性能と強いかかわりがあるシリカ微粒子の分散状態を高精度で評価することに成功した。

We will report the result of the small angle neutron scattering study of silica-filled SBR rubber with contrast variation by dynamic nuclear polarization. As a result of this study, we succeeded in precise evaluation of silica particles' dispersion state in composite rubber materials, which has been known to have strong effect on the fuel-efficiency or tire rubber.
