廃ゼオライトの長期保管方策の検討,2; 塩分を含むゼオライト中におけるステンレス鋼の腐食挙動

福島第一原子力発電所事故の水処理で発生する廃ゼオライト吸着塔の長期保管方策検討の一環として、吸着塔の腐食評価のため、人工海水を含んだゼオライト中におけるステンレス鋼(SUS316L)の電気化学試験並びに腐食試験を行った。その試験概要と成果について報告する。ゼオライトには、愛子産の天然ゼオライト(モルデナイト)とKurion社提供のHerscheliteを用いた。市販SUS316Lステンレス鋼を用いて、人工海水を含んだゼオライト共存系における孔食電位測定と腐食試験を行った。比較のためにゼオライトが共存しない単純浸漬試験も行った。単純浸漬で得られる孔食発生電位とゼオライト共存系とえ得られる値に大きな違いは生じなかった。吸着塔内の環境は不明な点が多いが、適切な塔内洗浄によりCl$$^{-}$$イオン濃度が低減できていれば、単純浸漬で得られる結果と同様に、塔内の局部腐食の可能性を小さくすることができると考えられる。

As a part of the long-term storage policy analysis of the abolished zeolite adsorber which occurred in water treatment of the Fukushima first Nuclear Power Plant accident, electrochemical corrosion test of stainless steel (SUS316L) in the zeolite including the artificial sea water and a corrosion test were performed for corrosion estimate of the adsorber. Natural zeolite (mordenite) of the Aiko product and Herschelite of the Kurion company offer were used for zeolite. Using commercial SUS316L stainless steel, a pitting potential measurement and a corrosion test in the zeolite presence including the artificial sea water were performed. The simplicity immersion test that zeolite did not coexist for comparison went. The big difference did not produce it so that zeolite presence and the value that could get resembled pit initiation potential provided by a simple digestion. The environment in the adsorber has many any questions, but it is considered that possibility of the local corrosion in the tower can be lowered like consequence to be provided by a simplicity digestion if Cl$$^{-}$$ ion concentration can decrease by cleaning in appropriate tower.
