放射光を用いた燃料模擬デブリの研究

デブリの主成分であるジルコニアとコンクリートを溶融した模擬デブリの放射光観察を行った。CT観察によって 得られた燃料模擬デブリの内部構造は相分離と結晶成長モードという2つの特徴があった。溶融状態から融点の高いジルコニア結晶がまず析出するのであるが、比重の重いジルコニアは結晶析出と同時に下部へと移動し、底面付近に凝集し相分離が生じると考えられる。相分離はジルコニアの組成比の差よって生じているが、組成比による結晶成長モードの違いも観察することができた。

Synchrotron radiation observation of simulated debris consisting of zirconia and concrete, those are the main component of debris, was carried out. Internal structure of fuel simulated debris obtained by CT observation had two features, phase separation and crystal growth mode. From the molten state, zirconia having a high melting point is first precipitated. Zirconia heavier than concrete moved to the lower part when crystals precipitate and aggregates near the bottom surface. As a result, phase separation occurs. The phase separation is caused by the difference in the composition ratio of zirconia, and can also be observed difference in crystal growth mode by composition ratio.
