This analysis is based on the data sample containing pairs that was collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB energy-asymmetric collider. Using a sum-of-exclusive technique with invariant mass up to 2.8 GeV/, we obtain % and %, where the last uncertainty for is due to the uncertainty on the production ratio of to in decays. The measured value of is consistent with zero, allowing us to constrain the resolved photon contribution in the , and improve the branching fraction prediction. The result for is consistent with the prediction of the SM. We also measure the direct asymmetries for charged and neutral decays. All the measurements are the most precise to date.

This decay proceeds mainly via a "penguin" amplitude. The results are (stat.) (syst.) and (stat.) (syst.), which are the most precise measurements of violation in this decay mode to date. The value for the -violating parameter is consistent with that obtained using decay modes proceeding via a "tree" amplitude.

The measurement is performed combining the final data sets of the BaBar and Belle experiments collected at the resonance at the asymmetric-energy B factories PEP-II at SLAC and KEKB at KEK, respectively. The data samples contain pairs recorded by the BaBar detector and pairs recorded by the Belle detector. The results of the measurement are and . The result for the direct measurement of the angle of the CKM Unitarity Triangle is . The quoted model uncertainties are due to the composition of the decay amplitude model, which is newly established by performing a Dalitz plot amplitude analysis using a high-statistics data sample. CP violation is observed in decays at the level of standard deviations. The significance for is standard deviations. The trigonometric multifold solution is excluded at the level of standard deviations. The measurement resolves an ambiguity in the determination of the apex of the CKM Unitarity Triangle.

The hypothesis of is ruled out at the level of standard deviations, and thus violation is observed in decays.
