福島県の野生ニホンザルの肝臓・膀胱・大腿筋を用いて、低線量放射線による生物影響の要因と考えられる酸化ストレスとその防御機構である抗酸化活性のバランスを調べた。その結果、福島第一原子力発電所事故に起因する非常に低い線量率の放射線被ばくによって、事故から7年から10年が経過しても放射線に対する生物の応答反応が外部被ばく・内部被ばくに共通して持続すること、その変動傾向は臓器によって異なるものの、いずれも酸化ストレスと抗酸化機構が関連して変動する可能性が示唆された。

スピネルに形成された損傷組織をX線吸収端近傍構造解析(XANES)とX線小角散乱法(SAXS)を用いて調べた。照射量が増加するとSAXSとXANESの両方で変化が見られた。SAXSでは、照射部に直径5nmの円柱状のイオントラックが観測された。XANESの結果は、四面体位置と八面体位置の間でカチオンの無秩序化が生じていることを示すものであった。さらに、XANESスペクトルの定量的な解析により、高照射量ではカチオンが八面体位置を優先的に占有することがわかった。

中のカチオン(Mg, Al)は、通常は秩序だったサイトに配置されている。Mgは四面体位置、Alは八面体位置にある。しかし、スピネルに高速重イオンを照射すると、スピネル中のカチオンの配置が無秩序になることが予想される。カチオン配置の秩序度の変化を、放射光を利用したエックス線吸収端近傍構造の測定により評価した。その結果得られた実験データを、第一原理計算の結果と比較することによって、以下のことが分かった。照射に伴うMgの配置の変化とAlの配置の変化が整合しており、MgがAlサイトに、AlがMgサイトに乗り移る無秩序化が進んでいることが分かった。高照射量(1

In this work, an analysis system that can analyze the modification of the residual stress distribution by peening is proposed based on IEFEM. In the proposed analysis system, IEFEM is extended to consider the dynamic effect to analyze the dynamic phenomenon with an impulsive load. The impulsive load due to the collision of shots is modeled as an equivalent load model. The equivalent load model is integrated with IEFEM considering the dynamic effect to calculate spatially and temporally random load in dynamic analyses. Using the proposed analysis system, the residual stress distribution modification by shot peening in a multi-pass welded pipe joint is predicted. The residual stress distributions obtained by the analysis are compared with those measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the effect of the number of shot collisions on the change in residual stress distribution is discussed.

In this research, to investigate the effect of shot peening on operation, an analysis method to predict the behavior of stress distribution on shot peening was proposed. In the proposed system, the load distribution on the collision of shots was modeled, and it was integrated with the dynamic analysis method based on the Idealized explicit FEM (IEFEM). The thermal elastic plastic analysis method using IEFEM was applied to the analysis of residual stress distribution of multi-pass welded pipe joint. The computed residual stress distribution was compared with the measured residual stress distribution using X-ray diffraction (XRD). As a result, it was shown that the both welding residual stress distribution agree well with each other. Considering the computed welding residual stress distribution, the modification of stress distribution due to shot peening was predicted by the proposed analysis system.

Residual stresses near the weld metal of the joints before and after a thermal cycle were measured using a reactor based neutron diffraction technique in room temperature. In-situ residual stress measurements were performed on the plate type sample using a pulsed neutron diffraction technique under thermal cycles. Residual stress behaviors of the samples were examined also by the idealized explicit FEM (IEFEM), which agreed well with the experimental results of the residual stress behaviors during thermal cycles. Thermal stresses were induced near the weld metal by the difference of the linear expansion coefficients of the dissimilar base metals. Since the thermal stress exceeded the yield stress of the material during the first heating process, the residual stresses near the weld metal were redistributed and a part of the residual stress was relaxed.

本研究では、先ず、ショットピーニングプロセスにおける残留応力の挙動を予測するための解析手法を提案した。この手法ではショットの衝突時の荷重分布をモデル化し、さらに、理想化陽解法FEM解析手法(IEFEM)に基づく動的解析法と組み合わせた。提案した解析システムの解析精度は、ショット一発が衝突した際の応力分布をABAQUSによる解析結果と比較することで確認した。IEFEMを用いて熱弾塑性解析を実施し、配管のマルチパス溶接における溶接残留応力の解析を実施し、解析結果をX線回折による残留応力測定結果と比較し、両者がよく一致することを確認した。次いで、ショットピーニングによる溶接残留応力の変化を提案システムによって解析した。その結果、多量のショットを衝突した場合の残留応力は、解析と実験とでよく一致した。

states. However, the octahedral coordination around Ir is trigonally distorted, which may affect the energy level scheme of Ir
states. Here, we report spectra of resonant elastic and inelastic X-ray scattering in Eu
Ir
O
at the Ir
edges. A large suppression of the magnetic scattering signal at the Ir
edge supports the
picture rather than the
one. The inelastic scattering spectrum indicates that the magnitude of the trigonal field on the Ir
states is evaluated to be comparable to the spin-orbit interaction. The energy diagram of the
state is proposed based on the simple cluster model.

To clarify the mechanisms underlying such difference, we synthesized information on the routes of metal transport and accumulation in rice plants. At grain-filling, Zn and Cd ascending in xylem are transferred to the phloem at stem nodes. Grain Fe is largely derived from the leaves by remobilization. Zn and Fe concentrations in phloem-sap and grains are regulated within a small range, while Cd concentrations vary depending on xylem supply. To increase concentrations of the metal chelators are effective in increasing grain Zn and Fe concentrations. The elimination of OsNRAMP5 Cd-uptake transporter and the enhancement of root-cell vacuolar Cd sequestration reduce uptake and root-to-shoot transport, respectively, resulting in a reduction of grain Cd accumulation.

We have conducted noninvasive imaging of cadmium (Cd) in intact plants using a positron-emitting tracer imaging system (PETIS) and Cd for the purpose of understanding the mechanism of Cd translocation in plants. In our typical imaging experiment,
Cd tracer has been fed to the root of large plants such as rice, and obtain the serial images of
Cd distribution in the underground parts (roots and culture solutions) or the aerial parts (shoots or grains). However, whole-plant images of
Cd distribution in both underground and aerial parts have not been obtained because the field of view (FOV) of PETIS is limited. In this study, we fed
Cd to dwarf plants,
and visualized Cd dynamics in a whole plant within the FOV of PETIS. As a result, the whole physiological process, i.e., uptake from culture solution, translocation from root to shoot and accumulation in shoot, were successfully visualized in the single imaging experiment. The time courses of Cd amounts demonstrated that the half amount of Cd fed to the solution was taken up by the root within 2 hours, and the two-thirds amount was accumulated in the shoot after 30 hours. These results imply the whole-plant imaging represents a reliable tool for the quantitative analysis of Cd dynamics.

We have visualized and quantitatively analysed the real-time Cd dynamics from roots to grains in typical rice cultivars that differed in grain Cd concentrations. We used positron-emitting Cd tracer and an innovative imaging technique, PETIS. A new method for direct and real-time visualization of the Cd uptake by the roots in the culture was first realized in this work. Imaging and quantitative analyses revealed the different patterns in time-varying curves of Cd amounts in the roots of rice cultivars tested. Three low-Cd accumulating cultivars showed rapid saturation curves, whereas three high-Cd accumulating cultivars were characterized by curves with a peak within 30 min after
Cd supplementation, and a subsequent steep decrease resulting in maintenance of lower Cd concentrations in their roots. This difference in Cd dynamics may be attributable to OsHMA3 transporter protein, which was recently shown to be involved in Cd storage in root vacuoles and not functional in the high-Cd accumulating cultivars. Moreover, the PETIS analyses revealed that the high-Cd accumulating cultivars were characterized by rapid and abundant Cd transfer to the shoots from the roots, a faster transport velocity of Cd to the panicles, and Cd accumulation at high levels in their panicles, passing through the nodal portions of the stems where the highest Cd intensities were observed.

本研究では、オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼SUS316L及びニッケル基超合金NCF600を母材とした異種材平板の突合わせ溶接継手の残留応力について実材料表面残留応力分布計測及び熱弾塑性有限要素解析を行った。その結果、測定からは溶接部内部に弾塑性有限要素解析では見られない非対称な圧縮応力分布が発生していることを明らかにした。今後この差を解明するために結晶配向、弾塑性異方性なども含めたより詳細な研究が必須であり、それにより、より信頼性の高い弾塑性有限要素解析が可能になると期待できる。

In this study, we evaluated the activities on Cd translocation of a few candidate varieties and analyzed the biological mechanisms using a positron-emitting tracer imaging system (PETIS). Three common rice cultivars, Nipponbare, Koshihikari and Sasanishiki and three candidate varieties were subjected. We equally fed the hydroponic culture solution including Cd to the six test plants and obtained the serial images of the Cd distribution in the aerial parts for 36 h using PETIS. As a result, It was found that the three candidate plants accumulated Cd in their aerial parts approximately two times as common cultivars. It was also found that almost all Cd in the culture solution was absorbed by all the tested plants. Therefore, this result indicates that the difference was due to greater activities of the candidates in the process to export Cd from the root tissue to the aerial parts, but not in the process of absorption from the culture.
