充填スクッテルダイトPrFePの異常秩序相(=6.5K)について共鳴X線散乱による研究を行った。Prの吸収端において、以上の構造では禁制である=oddの反射に共鳴散乱が観測された。これらの反射はの単位胞中にある2つのPr原子の異常散乱項の差を含んでいることから、この秩序相は電子状態の異なった2つのPr原子が秩序化したものと考えられる。

Resonant x-ray scattering study was carried out to investigate an anomalous ordered state ( = 6.5 K) in the filled skutterudite PrFeP. At the Pr- absorption edge, we observed resonant features in = odd reflections, which are forbidden in the structure above . Because these reflections contain the difference of anomalous scattering factor between two Pr atoms in the unit cell, and the ordered state is attributed to the ordering of two different electronic states of Pr.
