畑土中$$^{129}$$I濃度測定への加速器質量分析法の適用

加速器質量分析装置(AMS)を用いて東海再処理施設周辺の土壌中$$^{129}$$I/$$^{127}$$I原子数比(10$$^{-8}$$$$sim$$10$$^{-7}$$)及び$$^{129}$$I濃度を測定するための前処理法について検討し、測定に適用した。本法を用いて得られた測定値と中性子放射化分析法で得られた測定値を比較したところ同等の値であった。AMS法は前処理操作が比較的簡単かつ短時間で行うことができ、また、同時に多試料の測定が可能である等、環境放射能調査において非常に効率的な分析方法であると考えられる。

The pretreatment procedure to measure the atom ratio of $$^{129}$$I/$$^{127}$$I(10$$^{-8}$$$$sim$$10$$^{-7}$$ and $$^{129}$$I concentration in the soil around the Tokai reprocessing plant by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) has been investigated and applied. The measured data by AMS method were compared with those by neutron activation analysis (NAA) method, and then the relatively good agreement was confirmed. Also from the view of the relatively easy and quick pretreatment, AMS method is considered to be very efficient and practical for environmental radioactivity research especially for measurement of many samples.
