Effect of nitrous ion on oxidation of oxidizing-metallic ion in nitric acid solution

硝酸溶液中の酸化性金属イオンの酸化反応に及ぼす亜硝酸イオンの効果

The influence of the nitrous acid on the oxidation of V(IV) in nitric acid solutions, the concentration changes in V(IV), V(V) and nitrous ion formed from HNO $_{2}$ in the nitric acid solution were investigated at various temperatures and pressures. The experimental results showed that the progress and acceleration of the oxidation of vanadium were influenced by the presence of HNO $_{2}$ .
