MEGAPIE実験のカバーガスで測定された希ガス(Ar, Kr, Xe)と水銀(Hg)及び金(Au)の放射性核種の量を、新たに開発したTRAILコードで解析評価した。

To validate the TRAIL code, the radioactivity of noble gas (Ar, Kr, Xe), mercury (Hg) and gold (Au) measured in the cover gas of the MEGAPIE target at the start-up of the operation has been evaluated using the code. The release behavior of these spallation products from LBE was discussed based on the results from the viewpoint of the solubility in LBE and the vapor pressure.
