However, unconventional magnetic states driven by VHSs, such as spin-density waves (SDWs), have yet to be observed experimentally in kagome metals. Here, we present a comprehensive investigation of the magnetic and electronic structure of the layered kagome metal CeTiBi
, where the Ti kagome electronic structure interacts with a magnetic sublattice of Ce
= 1/2 moments. Our findings establish the rare-earth Kagome metals LnTi3Bi4 as a model platform where characteristic electronic structure of the kagome lattice plays a pivotal role in magnetic order.

The discovery of multiple superconducting phases in UTe boosted research on correlated-electron physics. This heavy-fermion paramagnet was rapidly identified as a reference compound to study the interplay between magnetism and unconventional superconductivity with multiple degrees of freedom. The proximity to a ferromagnetic quantum phase transition was initially proposed as a driving force to triplet-pairing superconductivity. However, we find here that long-range incommensurate antiferromagnetic order is established under pressure. The propagation vector k
= (0.07, 0.33, 1) of the antiferromagnetic phase is close to a wavevector where antiferromagnetic fluctuations have previously been observed at ambient pressure. These elements support that UTe
is a nearly-antiferromagnet at ambient pressure. Our work appeals for theories modelling the evolution of the magnetic interactions and electronic properties, driving a correlated paramagnetic regime at ambient pressure to a long-range antiferromagnetic order under pressure. A deeper understanding of itinerant-f-electrons magnetism in UTe
will be a key for describing its unconventional superconducting phases.

The -electron states of NdB
were determined by observing crystalline electric field (CEF) excitations with inelastic neutron scattering experiments. Our analysis yields CEF excitation energies of 2.8, 12.4, 17.2, and 25.4 meV. The
-electron states are simply described by one of
-multiplets
with negligibly small mixing. The ground state is the pseudo-quartet consist of the ground doublet dominated by
and the first excited doublet dominated by
at 2.8 meV, which is consistent with magnetic specific heat and entropy reported in earlier study. The simple
-electron states in NdB
are the consequence of the strong uniaxial and in-plane isotropic CEF potential due to the local structure of Nd
ions with point symmetry
.

axis. Moreover, a magnetic field-induced phase transition is observed at approximately 1 T. The application of a magnetic field suppresses spin ordering and enhance spin fluctuations. Our experimental results suggest the presence of a quantum phase in the magnetic phase diagram of the spin-1/2 Heisenberg rhombic lattice antiferromagnet with easy-plane anisotropy.

Neutron scattering experiment and the observation of the AH effect comprehensively suggest a dominant AF structure in TaMnP is represented by . The AHC is one of the largest among those observed in AF materials at zero fields. First-principles calculations suggest that the spin-orbit interaction originating in nonmagnetic Ta-5
electrons significantly contributes to the enhancement of Berry curvatures in the momentum space. We found that the AF domain switching is triggered by the magnetic fields along all the crystal axes. This indicates that the AF domain determining the sign of the Hall response can be controlled even through the small net magnetization symmetrically different.

Here, we report a unique type of magnetic transition characterized by a linear increase in the volume fraction of unconventional static short-range-ordered spin clusters, which triggered a transition into a long-range order at a threshold fraction perfectly matching the bond percolation theory in a new quantum antiferromagnet of pseudo-trigonal Cu(OH)
Cl
. Static short-range order appeared in its Kagome lattice plane below Ca. 20 K from a pool of coexisting spin liquid, linearly increasing its fraction to 0.492(8), then all Kagome spins transitioned into a stable two-dimensional spin order at
_
_
_
_
$. The unconventional static nature of the short-range order was inferred to be due to a pinning effect by the strongly correlated coexisting spin liquids. This work presents a unique magnetic system to demonstrate a complete bond percolation process toward the critical transition. Meanwhile, the unconventionally developed magnetic order in this chemically clean system should shed new light on spin-liquid physics.

= Mg, Mn, Co, and Ni) with the glaserite structure, featuring rotational distortions of PO
tetrahedra, are investigated. Neutron powder diffraction (NPD) measurements on polycrystalline samples were carried out in the temperature range from room temperature to 800 K. Structure analyses on the NPD data revealed that all of the compounds studied here have a ferroaxial structure (space group:
)at room temperature and undergo a ferroaxial transition into a non-ferroaxial phase (space group:
1) upon heating. Structural parameters change continuously at the transition temperature, which suggests that the ferroaxial transition of Na
Ba
(PO
)
systems is of the second order. Furthermore, to examine the structural stability, ab initio phonon calculations were carried out for Na
BaMg(PO
)
. The calculated result shows that the rotational phonon mode instability inherent in the non-ferroaxial
1 phase leads to the
phases as a ground state, which well explains the experimental result. This study revealed that Na
Ba
(PO
)
systems with the glaserite structure are a class of ferroaxial compounds showing a second-order pure ferroaxial transition.

magnetic ions. This proposal is demonstrated in quasi-one-dimensional magnetic systems SrM
V
O
(M = Ni, Mg, and Co). The ferroelectric phase transition is observed by measurements of neutron powder diffraction and dielectric properties in all compositions. Structural analyses and first-principles calculations indicate that these magnetic compounds are identified as proper-type ferroelectrics whose ferroelectric phase transition is achieved by spiral motions of crystallographic screw chains formed by edge-shared MO6 octahedra, considered as the combination of locally defined chirality and axial vector. Computationally predicted magnitude of spontaneous polarization of SrM
V
O
reaches
10
C/cm
, comparable to that of conventional ferroelectrics, despite the incorporation of non-d
magnetic elements. The mechanism proposed in this study offers a unique approach to the exploration of new ferroelectrics beyond the traditional paradigms.

We show that all three Fourier components of the triple-
structure are perpendicular to the respective
vectors and have the same helicity. They are connected by the rotation operations about the [111] axis. The helicity is the same as that of the single-
helimagnetic phase at low fields, suggesting that the antisymmetric exchange interaction inherent in the chiral structure supports the formation of the triangular skyrmion lattice. We also observe that the helical plane in the helimagnetic phase is tilted to the magnetic field to form a conical structure before the first-order transition to the skyrmion lattice phase.

34 K) in tetragonal UPt
Si
using polarized and unpolarized neutron diffraction. Previous neutron scattering studies reported that this system possesses a simple AFM structure with a propagation vector, Q= 0, and the ordered magnetic moments aligned along the c-axis. By contrast, our latest resonant X-ray scattering (RXS) experiments have revealed that the magnetic structure is modulated by the charge-density-wave (CDW) order, which emerges in one of the two Pt atomic layers in the unit cell below
320 K. The modulation is characterized by a transverse wave in the c-plane, with the propagation vector of the CDW order, q
= (
0.42, 0, 0). In this study using neutron scattering, we observed that the superlattice reflections specified by q
develop below
, in addition to the magnetic reflections with Q= 0, thereby further confirming the presence of modulation in the AFM structure of this system. From detailed analyses, we revealed that the amplitude of the transverse-wave magnetic modulation is 0.72(2)
/U, which is quantitative information that can not be obtained through RXS experiments. This implies that the CDW drives the ordered magnetic moments to be tilted up to 20
in the AFM state. The observations strongly suggest that the magnetism of UPt
Si
is heavily influenced by the hybridization effects between the
electrons of U and the 5d electrons of Pt.

Ga
with the ordering temperature
= 26 K was investigated by resonant X-ray scattering and neutron diffraction on single crystals. This compound possesses a unique crystal structure in which uranium ions form honeycomb layers and then stacks along the c-axis with slight offset, which gives rise to a stacking disorder. The AF order can be described with the propagation vector of q = (1/6, 1/6, 0) in the hexagonal notation. The ordered magnetic moments orient perpendicular to the honeycomb layers, indicating a collinear spin structure consistent with Ising-like anisotropy. The magnetic reflections are found to be broadened along c
indicating that the stacking disorder results in anisotropic correlation lengths. The semiquantitative analysis of neutron diffraction intensity, combined with group theory considerations based on the crystallographic symmetry, suggests a zig-zag type magnetic structure for the AF ground state, in which the AF coupling runs perpendicular to the stacking offset, characterized as q = (1, 0, 0). The realization of the zig-zag magnetic structure implies the presence of frustrating intralayer exchange interactions involving both ferromagnetic (FM) first-neighbor and AF second and third-neighbor interactions in this compound.
