2012年度のサイクロトロンにおけるビームタイムは2243.5時間であった。そのうち、バイオテクノロジーや医療分野の利用時間が最も多く、全体の1/4の利用時間を占める。外部への利用提供は17%であった。一方、静電加速器における利用日数は490日であった。そのうち、基盤技術分野の利用が46%と半分近くの利用割合を占めたが、宇宙材料の照射と原子炉材料の照射利用も多く、それぞれ18%, 15%の利用割合を占めた。外部への利用提供は8%程度であった。
