The magnetic shield design study for the in-situ SEOP polarized $$^{3}$$He neutron spin filter system for high magnetic field sample environment has been performed by means of finite element calculation. The study showed that the design of magnetic shield can be optimized to accommodate the in-situ SEOP filter system located 1 meter from the sample position achieving depolarization time greater than 100 hours with an applied magnetic field of 7 Tesla of a cryomagnet at the sample position.
