電極表面に電解析出するネプツニウム

Np(V)の還元反応に伴い電極表面に形成するNpの析出挙動を電気化学水晶振動マイクロバランスにより分析した。pH3$$sim$$4でのボルタモグラムを比較するとpHが高くなるほど析出し始める電位が正電位であることが分かった。また、pH4での析出量と還元電気量の関係から、最終生成物がNp(IV)酸化物であることが分かった。

We investigated the behavior of deposition following the reduction of Np(V) as electrodeposition by measuring electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance in pH 3$$sim$$4. Formation of Np deposits following the electrolytic reduction of Np (V) was confirmed at the more positive potential in the higher pH. From the relationship between the quantity of electricity of electrolytic reduction of Np(V) and the deposition in the pH 4 solution, we found that the specie of deposits is highly likely to be Np(IV) dioxide.
