様々な雰囲気条件下における水酸化セシウムと鉄さびの化学反応挙動

福島第一原子力発電所では事故時に海水注入が行われており、構造材として使用されているステンレス鋼や低合金鋼,炭素鋼等の表面がさびている可能性がある。本研究ではセシウム分布の把握に資する、鉄さび(鉄の酸化物)と水酸化セシウムの高温化学反応挙動を様々な雰囲気条件下で調査した。その結果、鉄さびと水酸化セシウムの化学反応により生成する主要生成物への雰囲気の影響はないことが分かった。

Since seawater was injected into the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station during the accident, there is a possibility that the surfaces of stainless steel, low-alloy steel, and carbon steel used as structural materials were rusted. In order to contribute understanding the distribution of cesium, in this study, chemical reaction behavior of iron rusts (iron oxides) and cesium hydroxide at high temperature were investigated under various atmospheric conditions. It was suggested that there was no effect of atmosphere on the major product formed by the chemical reactions between iron rusts and cesium hydroxide.
