Radiochemical analysis of actual samples collected at the Fukushima Daiichi NPS site

福島第一原子力発電所(1F)で発生した固体廃棄物の処理・処分の検討を目的に、1号機PCV内の底から採取された堆積物について放射能分析により核種組成を取得した。炉内から採取した試料の核種組成データを取得したのは初めてであり、これらのデータを取得できたことにより、炉内の汚染物の起源の検討が可能となった。

To study on treatment and disposal of solid waste generated at Fukushima Daiichi NPS (1F), radionuclide composition of sample taken from the bottom of primary containment vessel (PCV) of unit 1 was acquired by radioactivity analysis. It was the first time that nuclide composition data of samples taken from the inside of the reactor had been acquired, and the acquisition of these data will make it possible to estimate the origin of contaminants.
