この報告書は,再処理施設の周辺地域において,1978年1月から12月までの期間に,動燃事業団東海事業所で行った環境放射線モニタリングの結果をとりまとめたものである。再処理施設周辺の環境放射線モニタリングは,1975年9月に定められた「動燃事業団東海事業所再処理工場保安規定,第III編環境監視」に従い実施されている。再処理工場のホット試験操作は1977年9月に開始されて以来1年以上を経過したので,この機会に最新の監視結果をとりまとめることとした。また,1975年から1977年までの結果についても,今回の作表方法に従い測定値一覧表としてとりまとめ本報告書に載せた。

The environmental radiation monitoring around the PNC fuel reprocessing plant at Tokai has been carried out since 1975 according to the Safety Standard of the plant. The hot test operation of the plant was started in September 1977, was continued to August 1978 and is now stopped for repairs of the acid-recovery process. This report summarizes the results of the monitoring during 1978. The data from 1975 to 1977 are also included in this report.
