遠隔操作によるアメリシウム含有MOX(Am-MOX)燃料の製造技術を開発した。また、Am-MOX燃料の相状態・物性を評価するとともに、照射挙動評価を実施した。本報告では、Am-MOX燃料の研究開発の現状について述べる。

The present status of the research and development program for americium-containing MOX is reported. Successful achievements for development of fabrication technology with remote handling and evaluation of irradiation behavior together with evaluation of thermo-chemical properties based on the out-of-pile experiments are mentioned with emphasis on effects of Am addition on the MOX properties.
