Several water leakage cases at Fukushima-Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (1F) have been reported. Therefore, water leakage stoppage techniques of the remote operation are required under high level radioactivity. In this study, we investigated basic properties of the photo-curable resin (PCR) in water, and applicability of the PCR to the water leakage stoppage. As the result, a water dispersion type of PCR was cured by the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. This report suggests the PCR as one of the technique to stop the water leakage for the 1F decommissioning.
