誘導結合プラズマ質量分析計のDRCにCO$$_{2}$$を導入することでアクチノイド(Am, Cm, U)由来の干渉物質を除去し、Pu同位体($$^{239}$$Pu, $$^{240}$$Pu, $$^{241}$$Pu, $$^{242}$$Pu, and $$^{244}$$Pu)の同時分析を可能にした。

Inductively coupled plasma tandem mass spectrometry with CO$$_{2}$$ gas reactions in a dynamic reaction cell almost eliminated the background noise intensity produced by isobaric interference from isotopes originating from actinides such as Am, Cm, and U at the locations (m/z) of significant Pu isotopes ($$^{239}$$Pu, $$^{240}$$Pu, $$^{241}$$Pu, $$^{242}$$Pu, and $$^{244}$$Pu).
