Progress of constructing energy-resolved neutron imaging system at J-PARC MLF

J-PARCの物質・生命科学実験施設では、エネルギー分解型中性子イメージング装置(ERNIS)の建設を2012年に開始した。ビームライン遮蔽、新規のビームシャッター、T0チョッパーを除く遮蔽体内機器、試料ステージ、検出器ステージは2013年度内に設置された。2014年の11月に最初のビームを出すことを予定しており、ビーム調整試験の後、2015年に共用運転を開始する。発表では、建設の進捗について紹介し、ERNISの特長について議論する。

Construction of the Energy-Resolved Neutron Imaging System (ERNIS) has started in 2012 at the Material and Life science experimental Facility (MLF) of J-PARC. Beam line shields, a new beam shutter, in-shield devices except a T0 chopper, sample stages and detector stages have been installed in the fiscal year ended March 2013. The first beam will be delivered in November 2014. After on-beam commissioning use programs are planned to start in 2015. In this presentation progress of the construction is introduced, and then characteristics of ERNIS are discussed.
